This place is awesome for kids of any age. The waterpark is great fun in the summer and free! You can rent pavillions for a picnic or birthday party and by renting I just mean reserve because there is no charge. My daughter had the best time renting a bike and driving through mini-Jax. This park is along the river and adjacent to Metropolitan park. They also have mini-classes a couple days a week for younger children.

This is a great place to take the kids during the hot summer days. The slpash park is a ton of fun. There are plenty of pavillions to rent and eat a picnic in. The small city of jax to ride bikes through is so cute. best of all everything is free.

This place is great in the summer. They have a water park (splash park) that the kids just love! You can BBQ, have a picnic, have a party, reserve pavillions. There is a playground for the kids also. Best of all, it's free! PROS: Water park, free to get in. CONS: none

This park is great! First of all, its free! Second, its an outdoor waterpark as well. I believer the waterpark is open in April, and probably through September, if not longer. It is great family fun. There are picnic tables and grills, free for anyone to use. Its a great location to have a birthday party. There are wide open spaces to fly a kite and throw around a football. There is also a cute spot for kids to ride bicycles. They are free to rent, and they all come with training wheels and helmets. I love this park!
