Refund not possible Most businesses offer a refund when someone nolonger wishes to utlize a businesses services. This is not the case with the Travis Fitness Center, because members do not sign a contract, they do not have the option of receiving a refund for the pre-paid months of the members membership. But the member does have the option of loaning the card to anyone for the remainder of the contract. So I guess that translates into me seeking some homeless person whom may just want to keep in shape. They never put any restrictions into who I could give my card to, since there is no contract.
The beginning of my gripe goes further than a refund in dealing with this business. My complaints go to the renewing of the membership. When the business fialed to adequately notify me that the full payment of my membership was received, they simply did not grant access to my card. No attempts were made via phone or email to attempt that there was some error on their part. My second biggest complaint is the maintaing of their equipment, and the fact that a member is constantly removing weights from a previous useer. This could be considered difficult, since a majority of the clients seems to be elderly. Thirdly is the condition in which I am not capable of using the equipment I wish to, because there is someone using the equipment I wish to use. I personally feel like I have received a poor experience in business and in my own personal fitness upkeep, and strongly recommend anyone interested to seek out the most professional people associated in the fitness business.
