Total disregard for client's best interest Chad S Roberts represented me in the Sulzer Class Action. I was an R.N. until totally disabled by a Sulzer hip prosthesis in 2000. This attny was, by law, supposed to be representing my best interst. In my dealings with him he has been blatantly dishonest. He had 120+ Sulzer clients (we were not a group ...we were individual clients). A legal assistant was given the task of filling out thousands of forms. Many were not submitted in a timely manner resulting in delayed funds distribution. Medical records were lost, income documents and medical bills were not returned to me. I was not informed when preliminary decisions were sent to him, by the Sulzer Claims Administrator, resulting in inability to appeal these decisions.
When the major Preliminary Decisions were recieved, my instructions to appeal them were ignored. This resulted in gross loss of income, hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills unpaid and past, present and future pain and suffering. I have had 4 operations on my right hip. After the last one, I was told that because of bone loss related to all these surgeries, I will always have pain and tendon/muscle rubbing on this prosthesis (it protrudes from my hip joint).
When I asked Chad Roberts why his law firm was so eager to recruit me, when they thought it would be a multimillion dollar lawsuit and then ignored my instructions when it wasn't, he said "it's all about the money"!
This man has total disregard for his clients when he learns thay will not produce millions for him.
Throughout this case he has not once, done anything. It was all left to his legal assistant. He sat back and collected money from me.
I beleive anyone considering hiring this man should really think twice. He is not a man who cares for anything but money.
