I recently moved to Jacksonville from New York where I owned a successful coffee house for many years.  We hosted regular art shows, poetry readings, drum circles as well as djs and bands.  I paint surreal landscapes and some realism as well.  I am involved in developing an artists co-op with many other artists and we are looking for more artists here in Jacksonville to join our group.  We have several art events planned for the near and distant future.  So I would encourage any other artists reading this to contact me if you are interested in knowing more about the art group or the events we have planned or wish to be added to a new site I'm also working on - www.jaxartcenter.com.  There's not much there at the moment but I am working on it daily!!
