My favorite one is 'Old Friends'. I guess it's because I'm just an old country boy from Kentucky. You have a real talent and a great imagination. Keep up the good work. Thank for being a good teacher and a friend.

Hey, Joey. Just got internet. Some pretty neat stuff you've got here that I didn't see from the photos. Glad I checked it out. Keep it up, I'd like to see some more.

Joey, I am very impressed, your artwork is amazing. But, I'm a little upset that you have been holding back on me. You better teach me how to make one of those roses by the time I graduate. I'm sure you could show me, you are a great teacher and so easy to learn from. Once again, Thank you!

Hey man. I love the metalart. Amazing stuff. Thanks for the time and patience teaching me a trade that will benefit me for the rest of my life. It means alot. Hopefully one day I'll be able to do some of this stuff as well as you do. Take it easy, Brogan

Biography

My name is Joey O'Neill. I have been welding since 1991. I gained my experience initially by visiting a friends shop who was working on different projects. Welding intrigued me immediately, so I asked to be taught.

I worked for him in a small fabrication shop as well as a few others on my days off over the next ten years.
I then decided to enroll in a welding school to learn more of metallurgy, blue print interpretation as well as different welding processes.

Once completing that school, I began to do shipyard work. Once the contract ran out, I began working in a large fabrication shop.

Eventually I moved on to becoming a welding instructor where I went to school. This is where I have found a home. In addition, I've been a member of the American Welding Society since 2003.

I also started this small company after learning that there is a demand for new fabrication and repair work. I have also discovered a talent of turning metal into artwork.

The material I use for my pieces varies as do the designs.  Some of the pieces that I have made were the result of my imagination, others were from requests.

I appreciate you visiting this site. If you are interested in any of these pieces, please feel free to contact me.  You can also visit my website at http://www.jfowelding.com.
