Artist Bio
Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Donna's creative streak could be seen very early in life. She could draw and paint well before she could talk or write. During childhood, she covered the house with her colorful work. As she grew, her parents continued to foster her talent, encouraging her to branch out into craft work, sewing, and other creative outlets.
As a teenager Donna attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, where she studied drawing and painting extensively, as well as sculpture, photography, book-making and printmaking. There she was able to gain valuable skills and knowledge of the materials and techniques that she now uses in her unique works of art.
After school Donna relocated to Atlanta, GA where she lived for 4 years. She has seen some success with exhibiting her work in Atlanta and hopes that her vibrant, lively style will be equally well received now that she has returned to her hometown.
