Description:
Full Moon Esbat Join us for our Full Moon Esbat Gathering in nature rain or shine. The beginning of each Esbat and Sabbat is open to public guests. It is a casual social gathering designed as a means for local Pagans to meet in a comfortable environment. Our goal is to make friends, share lore and exchange knowledge in a supportive location. Join us as we discuss our life, spirituality and anything else that strikes our fancy! Picture ID: All Attendees must present a picture ID to participate. Public Guest Access: 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. open to public guests. The park will not permit anyone into the park after 7:30 p.m., so please do your best to arrive on time GAEA Grove Member Access: Only GAEA Grove Members are permitted to stay for the full gathering. If you are interested in becoming a GAEA Grove Member, then please complete our New Seeker Registration process to learn how. Children: Children welcomed with adult supervision. Attire: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress in weather appropriate clothing. Items to Bring: Nothing, just bring your positive attitude and talkative selves! Cost: $3.00 Park Entrance Fee Location: Hanna Park, 500 Wonderwood Drive, Campsite #4, Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233. Directions to Hanna Park: Take 9A to the Monument Road exit. If you are traveling south on 9A, then turn left onto Monument Road. If you are traveling north on 9A, then turn right onto Monument Road. Stay in the right lane on Monument Road. At the intersection of McCormick Road and Monument Road (look for the McDonalds) , turn right onto McCormick Road. Stay on McCormick. McCormick will become Mt. Pleasant and Mt. Pleasant will become Wonderwood Expressway. At the intersection of Wonderwood and Mt. Pleasant, go straight. You will see a bridge in front of you that is the Wonderwood Expressway. Simply stay on Wonderwood. You will cross over the intersection of A1A and Mayport Road. After crossing over Mayport Road, Wonderwood will dead end at Hanna Park. Directions Inside Park: Here are the directions once you enter the park. This way we will not miss each other. The Gathering will be at Hanna Park in Campsite #4. Once you enter the park stay in the right lane. You will come to a Stop Sign Intersection. Go straight at this Stop Sign intersection, then turn right at the next road. You will see the Campsite Store where you will park your car in the Campsite store's parking lot. Next, walk past the guard tower and take your first right. Follow the road to the end. We will be on your right. Bring a flashlight if you are uncomfortable walking in dark woods. Parking: No Exceptions - Park your car in the Campsite Store parking lot. Walk over to the campsite. Alcohol, Tobacco & Illegal Substance Guidelines: Please do not bring alcohol, cigarettes or illegal drugs onto the campsite. Hanna Park is a dry park, which means that alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the park. The Park is patrolled by the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office who is invited to our Gatherings, so under no circumstances are illegal substances permitted on our campsite. Additionally, smoking of any type is not permitted on the campsite.
