School of Success Academy-SOS Reviews

SOS is a wonderful school, my son graduated from that school when it was just a middle school. He was starting to fail in the public school system and sos was just opening up at that time, my son pulled his grades up with the help and love and understanding of the staff. Well, my son has graduated high school now, unfortunately not SOS high. It was not open when he graduated middle, but I like the school and what it stands for so much that I am getting ready to send my daughter there for the six grade next year if they can take her. I feel she will do wonderful in this school. Keep up the good work sos the community is behind you.

Sos academy is a wonderful scholl no dout about that but it can be better. ...The staff is wonderful and they have they own special bond with these kids. Sos is a wonderful school

I like sos but the only thing I dont like is the uniforms. Sos give us great oppurtunity to learn.I was failing until I got to sos and it really helped me and Im going to 7th.

I am a student at SOS academy and I have alot to say about my school. I think SOS academy is a wonderful school. Every time I go there I see nothing but love between the students and teachers and teachers willing to do what it takes to see their students have a sucessgul future. Personally I think there should be more schools like SOS academy. If the school board ever closed it down I think many of hearts will be broken. There is a special bond that we all have. We know when it time to play and time to work. SOS is a place where you can have fun and learn at the same time. At SOS a kid like me can be his/her self. If you ask me it is the best school ever!

This school has come to the rescue of my grandchild who before going to SOS was really struggling. SOS's staff is terrific. Most every staff member knows each child by name thanks to the small class size. The principal is a loving christian woman who truly has the best interest of the kids at heart. When my grandson who is in high school now, was out of school sick, one of his teachers called regularly to check up on him and made sure that his assignments from each teacher was collected and sent home. She even sent her home phone number so that we could reach her at any hour if we had a question and the kids love her. You don't find that kind of commitment in the traditional public school. I thank God for SOS and hope that one day the school board will realize its worth.

I have had a student at this school since the sixth grade. The student is now in eleventh grade.I don't know where the Florida Department of Education came up with some of the information it has given this website but it is incorrect. The School has never had a problem with dropouts or with students being chronically absent. The information on the school's teachers was readily made available to our District (Duval County).
