Seacoast Christian Academy Reviews

Inconsistent discipline. School is full of clicks and bullies. Academics lacking, especially core classes. Principal was unresponsive and unconcerned. Very poor environment. Would not recommend to anyone.

What a wonderful calm learning environment. The principal is very kind and helpful. I only wish that I had brought my son to this wonderful Christian, academic environment years ago. SCA takes the best of the kids and brings it out. It has fantastic field trips. My son only had to take two classes as a senior and he wanted to stay due to the great teachers. A+++. It was a very moving graduation program. It's a very organized school and teachers are truly caring, along with the student body.

awesome elementary especially Mrs Caruthers and Mrs. Groom. Severe problems in middle school.Clicks among teachers and favoratism with students. Just plain odd behavior with one teacher. Just ask any student or parent of a student, and you know which teacher. Disappointing!

We withdrew our children from this school after months of problems w/ bullies in the high school. The principal would continually say he would look into the problems and nothing was ever resolved. The administrator would not answer phone calls or emails about the problem. We felt the principal turned his head to the problem or was unable to fix it. The school is full of clicks and bullies. The academics were also lacking, especially math. We hired tutors to get our daughter thru math at Seacoast and now that she has a real math teacher she is doing well. It seemed to us that as the tuituion went up everything else went down. We have found a more christian atmosphere for both of our children and now realize how bad this school was.

Seacoast Christian Academy has a phenomenal preschool program! My daughter is attending their pre-school and loves it there. The teachers and faculty are great, their healthy lunch program has eliminated the high sugar items from the menu and exposed my daughter to a variety of healthy foods she enjoys! She is excelling with the A Beka curriculum and the teacher is keeping up w/ each child's individual pace. I love the school and would recommend it to any parent of a preschooler!

Discipline is random and inconsistent, at best. Academics are lacking. Better off sending your children to public school than this school.

This is our third year at Seacoast Christian Academy. Our son has learning disabilities and is hard of hearing. Seacoast changed his life! He was treated very bad in public school by other classmates. Now he has tons of friends and loves his teachers. Now that he is so happy his grades are high. Thank you S.C.!

There is a lack of discipline at this school and the rules are applied randomly. No emphasis on academics at all. This was a very bad experience for our children and for us.

Yeah this school is pretty good. I go there and it is very christ centered and they have a very strong drama department. J.R.

Since my son has been at this school,I can see a difference in him. My son really enjoy going to school and being involved with his studies. He is not made to feel that he is stupid and they work with him. I thank God that we have found a school that is willing to work with him. The students there are egually as nice. Thank God for Seacoast, keep up the good work.

What do I love about SCA? Let me count the ways! First, I know that my grandkids are getting a Christ-centered quality education because of the excellent curriculum and qualified teachers. The Administrator and her staff are warm and loving, and provide an environment conducive to learning. The sports program is awesome! Any child who wants to play in a sport is able to--there are no 'jocks'--just great kids having a great time. The arts program, that includes art, drama, dance and music, has opened the world to kids who have talents ready to be uncovered and developed. The healthy kids program, which eliminated sugar from the school, has made an incredible difference in behavior and learning. What more can I say? Lots, but I've run out of words.

This school has an amazing Pre-K program. My daughter is more than ready to start Kindergarten next year. She has amazing teachers who really enjoy and care about there job.

I love my son's teacher. He is doing exceptionally well at Seacoast. I do have concerns about the school's lunch program, the lack of outdoor/afterschool activities, and the lack of play areas. The principal is nice and young but I feel her ideas are that of the Board and that she really isn't leading the school.

This school appears to be dedicated to a well-rounded academic and spiritual learning environment. The preschool director is very asute and welcoming.

I think the teachers and staff are great. The school always have alot of programs going on and is always inviting parents to join in the fun. Every activity is scheduled around a theme that my child loves to participate in. y daughter is in Mrs.Julie's K-3 class and she is one of the most nurturing and respectable people I know. The atmosphere is very open and welcoming. Overall this school is a great place to start (K-2) and finish (12th grade) your children's education.

Ok Im not a parent but I go to the school and I love it. They are all so nice and the students and the teachers are very supportive and u learn alot about life, God and smarts.

SeaCoast is a great school to start your children with. My 2 year old daughter attends. Everyday she comes home she has something new to tell me that she's learned. the atmosphere is so positive. Not only does she learn but she has fun too, I can't think of a better place for her to be.
