Atlantic Beach Elementary School Reviews

Being military family my son has been to many schools. So when we moved to Florida my son statred going to this school for his thrid garde. He loved it and I loved it while he was in the school. The teachers and I was able to speak every day. They really took the time out for my son. Love it

excellent parent involvement. mostly good teachers. teaching towards fcat. recess varies per teacher

I love this school. I went there as a child and now my two kids go there. The staff is excellant and they really care about the kids.

The parental involvement is one of the great assets of this school. Early teachers are particulary good and provide kindness but discipline. A good reading start is provided and there are lots of extra programs that enhance the learning environment here.

ABE is a school where the facualty and staff know the children and most of the parents by name. The teachers are well trained and caring individuals that work to bring the best out of each child. There are many extracurricular activities through out the year, an arts festival, family nights, carnival and a very active PTA. The principal is kind and caring, yet firm. Enrollment is kept at a very managable level in order to maintain the community of everyone who goes there.

My son will be starting Atlantic Beach Elementary in the fall of 2005 and, since moving into the neighborhood 2 years ago, I couldn't be more thrilled with what we have to look forward to. There is a real sense of community here and the parents I have spoken with rave about the teachers, the curriculum and their kids' overall experience at Atalntic Beach Elementary!

How fortunate we are to be able to attend such a great school. I have yet to walk in to that school that they did not have some positive activity going on. The principal is always front and center with a warm smile and a big how are you. The kids are quiet and organized and very well behaved. If I didn't know better I would think it is a private school. I have also been very impressed with the cafiteria. I had lunch with my child and the food was very good, the lunch lady knew all the kids by name and the moniter knew my son's eating habbits and spoke to me about them. Not to mention that in 150 words I could not even begin to sing the praises of his teachers. If every school were like this kids might actually stay in school. Thank you!
