Neptune Beach Elementary School Reviews

Hi..I was a student at this school for my whole Elementary school years. The teachers are great! When they teach, the compare something to something totally ridiculous. But kids will remember these ridiculous things! They are very good teachers. And the students there are so smart! The principal is the best principal you could ever have.

Not to happy with the assisgnments in Grade K. Neptune Beach sends home plenty of flyers but they implemented a rule that grade K does not get homework. What they get instead is a calendar of random activies to do. So in any case I as the parent have no idea what subject, letter or number they are working on in class. This is hendering for me because if I knew what the activies for the week were I could re-enforce them at home. I know that Duval County has School Notes where the teacher can utilize the web to let us know the weekly activities. This would still utilize the money savings with paper but still inform us on how we can help as parents. So far not to happy.

We love this school!! A++++ The special needs teachers are awsome!!!

This is a great school! My kid attends an ESE class. Teachers and therapists are excellent. There is a lot of communication between teachers and parents. My kid loves it.

I love this school. I'm very pleased with it. I've never had a bad experience with anyone here.

My kids attended NBE this past year and we love it. The principal is awesome and I can not say enough about all the teachers. The teachers care about the kids and make learning fun. I am very impressed. My second grader required a little extra help in reading and math and they were able to give it to her.

This is my daughters first year at Neptune Beach and we both love it! She likes her teachers as well as I. I like the fact that the school has so many different programs for the students to get involved in.

The school is one of the best in the area. Caring teachers, great location.

The academics are great. The selectives are ok adn parent involvement is great

We currently have a student in the third grade in the ESOL program as a result of his family's job transfer from Puerto Rico to Jax. Compounded by the fact that the child started later than the other students and that he had limited enlish. My husband, family and friends, as well as, myself, are very impressed with the english that he has thus far been able to dominate. His ESOL teacher is passionate and truly cares about her students progress and the quality of her lesson plans. As a volunteer in her class and in the homeroom, I notice that more teachers are needed and more assistance in the classrooms. The classes definately have too many students. Other than that, my hats are off to all that I have come in contact with at Neptune Beach Elementary.

Neptune Beach is a really great school. Their PTA just won PTA of the year for the second year in a row. They do many great things for the school and are very involved. There are great teachers at this school. Even though there are 1000 students at this school if you spend anytime there at all you would see that everyone seems to know everyone else. Also, the Principal is great and she is very involved with her teachers, knows the students and the parents.

My daughter has attended NBE for 3 years. Every year just gets better. It is a wonderful feeling to know my child is safe and cared for everyday she walks into the school. Thank you so much NBE.

My son has been going to NBE for 3 years and loves every teacher he has had there. We asked him if he would be interested in switching to a school closer to home but he doesn't want to change. He's has had straight A's so we won't be moving him.

My children have attened Neptune Beach Elementary for 2 years. The teacher/parent relationship is excelent. My youngest was struggling, and her second grade teacher guided me to help and support thoughout the school year. My oldest's teacher was also very supportive in making sure she was 'making the grade'. All the teachers I have come in contact with work far and beyond what they have to do. Thank you NBE Judy Miller
