Sabal Palm Elementary School Reviews

We love Sabal Palm, my daughter transferred from another Duval County school in February and I was concerned the transition would be difficult for her but the teachers are great and they have made her feel right at home and she has told me she really enjoys it! I will also say that this school is much more advanced than my daughters prior school which did concern me since I thought all Duval County schools would be on the same lesson plan or at least relatively close but was I wrong. When my daughter switched schools just a few miles away they were so far advanced from her prior school that I was concerned that she would have a lot of problem catching up but her wonderful teacher has helped her out tremendously and she is doing well. I would recommend Sable Palm to everyone!!

I love Sabal Palm Elementary, it is a great school for my son. He loves his school and the faculty far exceeds my expectations. The principal is involved in all aspects of the school. She is open to all parents concerns and is very proactive. Each week she selects children from each classroom to come to her office for a special treat. We feel blessed at Sabal Palm!

This is an excellent school! My third grade son is on the A Honor Role and he has a wonderful teacher. The Principal is very nice and works hard to make Sabal Palm the best school it can possibly be. I highly recomend this school!

I love Sabal Palm! The atmosphere is friendly and the principal is warm, friendly, professional, and understanding. The teachers love teaching and the children are learning in a friendly environment. I love this school!

Excellent! My daughter attends Sabal Palms and really enjoys it . Last year she got accepted to attend a magnet school but she declined ,she wanted to stay and finish her 5th year at Sabal Palms.Teachers care about their students and their success, i see alot of involvement from the parents and community. I highly recommend sabal palms , way to go!

Only one word to discribe this school 'excellent'.

I have been involved with Sabal Palm now for 5 years and I have nothing but outstanding words for the school. Both my son and daughter attend this school and I wouldn't change schools for anything! I have several friends who attend private schools and although we could afford to send ours to private we feel that they are getting an incredible education at Sabal Palm. My son has had the incredible experience of having 2 teachers that were recognized as Teacher of The YEAR! You can't get much better than that. The teachers strive to constantly improve and introduce the kids to learn in various environments. The only negative I have to say is that the curriculum for the county could IMPROVE! But, that is not the schools fault! Way to go Sabal Palm~

Sabal palm is definitely not for everyone! My child past the first grade 2006. but I have to recognize that the principal was really nice friendly responsible and she was always happy.I think the school has a lot of improving to do before they can even call themselves 'Sabal palm where kids love to learn'

Our daughter is in the 5th grade. We are very pleased with her teachers this year and there involvement. The teachers are very pro active and the students really like the format and seem to thrive better because of it. We enjoy the level of communication between teacher and parent as well. Our daughter actually likes going to school and likes her teachers as well, many parents wish for this and we feel we are among the lucky ones that our daughter attends Sabal Palm Elementary

good school. teachers care about students success. great involvement from parents and community.

Great school. However the county curriculum could be improved by dumping Math Investigations.

My daughter is in first grade and I am disappointed that every time I try to get involved I am politely discouraged. about 25 kids per classroom with 1 teacher and no aids. The class is supposed to be advanced but does that mean we can't help or know anything that is going on?

Tremendous Kindergarten program. All the K teachers are very knowledgeable and caring. I found my child's first year of school to be very rewarding and was so pleased that she was in such a wonderful environment. As a Kindergarten teacher myself (at another school], I know what to expect and she got that and more. I couldn't have asked for a better start for her.

The exceptional learning program is great! Mt daughter was have problems reading in the 1st grade at another Duval County School. We moved to Sabal Palm and she has two teacher and the ESE teacher in the classroom. The inclusive teaching helps her stay on track with her class, yet receive the one on one instruction she needs.

Love this school. Love the teachers, love the principle love everything about it. The teachers met with me for 2 hours to come up with a plan of action for my daughter. A+

Sabal Palm is a good school. I have a 2nd grader who has been there since kindergarten. He loves school and reading. He is not yet in any programs in the school. Parent involvement is a must at the school.

The teachers my children have had at this school have gone above and beyond to provide them a great academic experience. They have made them feel special and important in very large school. I was at first worried about the size of this school but it is run wonderfully, and my kids have had fantastic teachers.

Terrific School!! Great administration and Faculty/Staff. Everyone's involved, my child loves it!

A wonderful school with caring teachers. Even though the school is large, the children are always first.
