The atmosphere was always friendly and I could always contact the teachers when necessary. My two children are happily settling in and the new Principals have proven to be professional educators who are confident in their abilities to continue to make this an 'A' school. I have a son and daughter who attend the 5th grade there. I can see the academic progress the children have made from the first day of class to the present. My children went to a private school in Philadelphia before we moved here in July, and the quality of this public school s education is tantamount to the quality of the private school. I commend Dante and Maya's teachers, Ms. Peters and Mrs. Reeger; the best bus driver in the world, Mrs. Turner, Principal Kornblum, parents and the many other administrators and employees who work together to provide a rich and caring environment in which these children can learn, and be enriched with the necessary basic/intermediate skills needed to achieve in their later academic years. The school is very well equiped with all that is necesary to provide my child with a good education. The faculty have always been very polite and helpful. My child has attended two other Duval County schools but this school is the best by far. I hope that other schools can follow in their example.”
