The Maple Street Biscuit Company is one of the newest restaurants in Jacksonville and they have made a name for themselves. The restaurant opened in San Marco in 2012 and has since expanded to a second location in Jacksonville Beach, but it is a new restaurant in Jacksonville.
After recovering from Hurricane Irma, this is the perfect place for day trippers to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. Watch the boats and wildlife as you dive into the region, but eating deep-fried gator tails under a waterfront canopy with wildlife trophies is undeniably Florida. Since 1939, he has been serving family-style fried chicken dinners. The name refers to the time when Atlantic Boulevard was the only link between Jacksonville and the beaches.
If you're looking for a fishing spot near the beach but want something different, check out Tomoti's Seafood Shak. Timoti's, or "Seafood Shak," is located in the popular and historic 5-point neighborhood and is one of the best places to eat seafood in Jacksonville.
